Taking place at Silverstone Motor Racing Circuit in Northamptonshire on October 9th, 2022, this Silverstone Spectacular showcased a thrilling display of historic cars and nostalgic racing. In this particular shot, we see the iconic Ford Anglia driven by Martin Reynolds himself. The MC Special Saloons and Modsports category featured an exciting lineup of Sports Racing and V8s from various eras up to 1993. The races consisted of two sessions - a twenty-minute race followed by a weekend finale lasting fifteen minutes. The event offered participants the option to have two drivers per car, adding an extra layer of excitement to the already intense competition. Cars were divided into separate groups based on their engine types - those still equipped with period-correct engines were classified into five classes according to size, while modern power plant-propelled vehicles were categorized into three classes also based on engine size.
