Raoul Dufy was a French painter and designer known for his vibrant use of color and bold, expressive brushstrokes. His work often depicted scenes of leisure and everyday life, capturing the essence of modernity in early 20th century France. Dufy's unique style combined elements of Fauvism with a sense of whimsy and playfulness, creating dynamic compositions that exuded joy and energy. Throughout his career, Dufy experimented with various mediums including painting, printmaking, textiles, ceramics, and even stage design.
