The aroma of freshly harvested figs filled the air as workers meticulously prepared them for worldwide distribution. Venturing northward to Old Port, Gdansk reveals yet another chapter in warehousing history. This maritime hub served as a gateway to international trade and saw countless goods pass through its doors on their way to distant lands. Closer to home lies Liverpool Dock's Warehouse - witness to endless comings and goings that shaped Britain's economy.
