The atmosphere is filled with joy and camaraderie as everyone poses together in the midst of cutting a beautifully decorated retirement cake. Mrs. Kirby's journey with John Laing and Son Limited began in 1955 when she joined as a secretary for Mr. Waldrum, who was responsible for personnel matters.
