This stunning print captures the essence of the Can-Am Demonstration at the Goodwood 81st Members Meeting in April 2024. Featuring CJ13 4913 Jake Hill, Kyle Tilley, and the Shadow MK1 Mosport, this selection of Can-Am cars from the no-limits series showcases engineering innovation at its finest. The Canadian American Challenge Cup ran from 1966 to 1974 and attracted drivers and teams from Europe as well as homegrown enterprises. With open regulations on engine size and aerodynamics, it resulted in some truly unique designs that pushed the boundaries of what was possible in sports racing cars. The Duke of Richmond's Goodwood Motor Circuit provided the perfect backdrop for these iconic cars to take to the track once again. The live action demonstration brought nostalgia for fans who remembered watching these unlimited sports racing prototypes tear up circuits around the world. Chris McEvoy's photograph perfectly captures the speed, excitement, and heritage of this historic event. It serves as a reminder of a time when innovation reigned supreme in motorsport, pushing drivers and machines to their limits in pursuit of victory.
