EDITORS COMMENTS
Action and excitement abound as Peter Reynolds and Daniel Quintero take to the Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit in their Ginetta G55 during the Masters Historic Festival. The duo are competing in the Cup Class of the Masters GT Trophy, a thrilling two-race weekend event that pits endurance racers against each other on this iconic UK circuit. The compulsory mid-race pit stop adds an extra layer of strategy to proceedings, as drivers must carefully manage their fuel and tire wear throughout the 40-minute races. With six classes divided by year of production and specification, there's a wealth of competition across GT3, GT4, and Cup cars from between 2007 and 2018. Here, Reynolds (left) and Quintero are locked in battle as they navigate the sweeping corners and fast straights of Brands Hatch. The G55's powerful engine is put to good use as it hurtles towards the finish line, its sleek design a testament to Ginetta's reputation for building high-performance machines. Captured by Chris McEvoy from CJM Photography, this stunning panned shot captures the intensity and drama of motorsport at its finest. The Masters Historic Festival may be all about nostalgia, but with action like this on display, it's clear that these historic racers still have plenty to give.
