EDITORS COMMENTS
Action and drama on the Snetterton circuit as Chris Clarkson's Ford Falcon Sprint takes to the track in pursuit of victory at the HRDC Jack Sears Trophy for 1958-1966 Touring Cars. The iconic tin top is driven by David Smithies, who navigates the twists and turns with precision and skill. The Historic Racing Drivers Club event saw a field of pre-'60 touring cars compete over 45 minutes, with the added challenge of a compulsory pit-stop to keep drivers on their toes. Clarkson's Falcon Sprint proved to be one of the stars of the show, its V8 engine roaring as it battled for position among some of motor racing's most legendary machines. The event was divided into six classes - Aley, Coombs, Leston, Mann, Rhodes and Sears - with drivers vying for top honors in each category. The Snetterton 300 circuit provided the perfect backdrop for this celebration of classic motorsport, as some of the greatest names from yesteryear took to the track once more. This stunning image captures a pivotal moment in the race, as Clarkson's Falcon Sprint hurtles towards the next turn with determination and grit. A true testament to the enduring spirit of motor racing legends.
