The adrenaline was pumping as the engines roared to life for the 25-minute race. CJ11 1091 Robin Pearce, behind the wheel of his sleek Morgan Plus 8, was ready to take on the competition. The crowd eagerly awaited the start, knowing that this race would be one for the books. Amongst the contenders were some formidable opponents. CJ11 1088 Adrian Oliver in his nimble Hillman Imp and CJ11 1087 David Wenman with his powerful Morgan Plus 4 were determined to give Pearce a run for his money. But they weren't alone in their quest for victory. CJ11 1086 Bob Bullen brought along his lightning-fast Ford Lotus Cortina, while CJ11 1085 Scott Quattlebaum showcased his skill in maneuvering the Elva Spider around every twist and turn. Meanwhile, CJ11 1083 Gregg Rumble displayed finesse behind the wheel of his Lotus Elan. Not to be outdone, CJ11 1082 Andrew Walton showcased precision driving in his Porsche 911, while CJ11 1081 Mark Soley pushed boundaries with his agile MG Midget. And let's not forget about CJ11 1079 Julian Thomas who unleashed power from his Ford Falcon or Jonathon Rushton who exhibited expertise with a Morgan Plus4. Last but certainly not least was Philip St Clair Tisdall in another impressive Morgan Plus8 (CJ11-1077). With such an array of talent and high-performance vehicles on display, it promised to be an exhilarating race from start to finish. As soon as the green flag dropped, these skilled drivers put pedal to metal and raced towards victory. Lap after lap, they navigated hairpin turns and straightaways with precision and determination. The sound of screeching tires filled the air as each driver fought tooth and nail for position. Minutes turned into seconds as time ticked away, and the race intensified.
