Royal Hospital, Chelsea, London. The Elephant Parade was an open air art exhibition of decorated elephant statues. Contributed by famous and upcoming artists they were for sale to promote the conservation of Asian elephants. Photographed in June 2010.
Famous and upcoming artists contributed statues to the cause of the conservation of Asian elephants and the public awareness of their life threatening situation. In the past 100 years Asian elephant populations had plummeted from 250, 000 to 25, 000
