Wigmore Abbey, Adforton, Herefordshire. Augustinian Abbey founded in 1179 by Hugh de Mortimer. Burial place of several of the Mortimer family, once Earls of March. The Abbots Lodging and various features of the abbey plan can be made out. It is a scheduled ancient monument ) and a Grade I listed building )
