Iron Age/Roman iron smelting site, Sherracombe Ford, Devon. This iron processing site is late Iron Age or Roman, making it the earliest known iron works on Exmoor. It consists of several platforms terraced onto the hillside above two large slagheaps. These features are made most visible through the use of aerial photography
