This aerial photograph, taken by Aerofilms Ltd in July 1920, captures the bustling maritime scene at Albert Dock in Liverpool, England. The image offers a unique bird's-eye view of the intricate network of docks and waterways that once formed the heart of Liverpool's thriving port. At the center of the photograph lies Albert Dock, a historic waterfront development that opened in 1846. Its distinctive horseshoe shape and elegant cast-iron columns are clearly visible, as are the various ships moored at the quayside. The Canning Half Tide Dock, located to the right of Albert Dock, is also evident, with its distinctive rectangular shape and rows of cranes and other industrial equipment.
