This aerial photograph, taken by Aerofilms Ltd in July 1949, offers a unique bird's-eye view of Ashbourne, a charming market town nestled in the heart of Derbyshire. This Grade I listed building, with its intricate Gothic Revival architecture, has been a landmark of Ashbourne since the 14th century. To the left, the Market Place comes alive with activity.
