A farewell dinner and party was held in Carlisle for W B Haughan, who was leaving his role of Carlisle branch manager for the new position of General Manager Overseas. W J Beckwith was welcomed during the presentation as his replacement. W B Haughan was presented with a set of leather travelling cases on behalf of staff in the Carlisle area and the evening was concluded with a programme of entertainment.
