The inner harbour, Mevagissey, Cornwall. 1909
The fishing vessel FY251 enters the inner harbour. In the background a number of other fishing vessels are moored in the boat yard corner of the inner harbour including FY212, FY138. Large nets hang over the harbour wall and a young boy looks at the camera from the stern of the vessel tied along side East Quay in the middle ground. Victoria Pier with the light house and the outer harbour can be seen in the far background on the right of the picture. Photographer: Herbert Hughes.
