Class 52 Western Locomotive No. D1000 Western Enterprise, the first Western to be built at Swindon Works.
Type 4 diesel hydraulic locomotives built at Swindon Works and Crewe Works between 1961 and 1964. The locomotives in this class were all given a name beginning with ÔÇÿWestern, so, the class became known as the Westerns
