In this photograph, we find Ian Calderwood at the wheel of his TVR Grantura Mk 111 during the Equipe Libre race at Brands Hatch Circuit on Sunday, 24th March 2024. This thirty-minute, one-driver race was open to pre-1966 race cars, run under FIA Appendix K regulations. The TVR Grantura Mk 111, a classic tin top, was shod with Dunlop historic CR65 L section tyres, adding an extra layer of nostalgia to the event. The race, organized by Equipe Classic Racing, took place at the iconic Brands Hatch Circuit in Longfield, Kent, England. Brands Hatch, known for its challenging twists and turns, has been a staple of British motor racing since the 1950s.
