Winston Teague, Frazer Nash Falcon, First run in 1952 the Pomeroy Trophy features cars from all era's and types, it's the Vintage Sports Car Club, VSCC, first track event of their season. Pomeroy Trophy, a set of four auto-tests followed by forty minutes of racing on the full Grand Prix circuit, There are three trophies awarded at the event; Pomeroy Trophy, Densham Trophy, Pomeroy Edwardian Trophy, Voiturette Trophy and the the Gordon Spice Cup. It runs on the full Grand Prix circuit at Silverstone, Towcester, Northamptonshire, England, 17th February 2024

"Amidst the drizzle and dull weather at Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, England, on the 17th of February 2024, the Vintage Sports Car Club (VSCC) kicked off their season with the Pomeroy Trophy, their first track event of the year. This historic motorsport competition, which features cars from all eras and types, saw Winston Teague and his iconic Frazer Nash Falcon take to the Grand Prix circuit. The Pomeroy Trophy is made up of a series of four auto-tests followed by forty minutes of racing on the full Grand Prix circuit. The event, which has been running since 1952, boasts an impressive lineup of trophies, including the Pomeroy Trophy, Densham Trophy, Pomeroy Edwardian Trophy, Voiturette Trophy, and the Gordon Spice Cup. Teague, hailing from England, was one of many competitors who braved the less-than-ideal weather conditions to participate in this fun and nostalgic event. The sight of the Frazer Nash Falcon, with its pre-war design and retro charm, was a welcome addition to the grid. The car, which first ran in 1952, looked as fast and impressive as ever as it maneuvered through the auto-tests and raced against other historic vehicles. The Pomeroy Trophy at Silverstone is a celebration of motorsport's rich history, and the damp and drizzly conditions only added to the sense of excitement and adventure. The roar of the engines, the smell of fuel and oil, and the sight of vintage and saloon cars speeding around the circuit were a feast for the senses. As the rain continued to fall, Teague and his Frazer Nash Falcon pushed themselves to the limit, determined to bring home one of the coveted trophies.
