16th October 2022, Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit, Northamptonshire, England: The thrilling HSCC Historic Touring Car Championship with Ecurie Classic came to a close at the Silverstone Finals, with a 20-minute race that brought together a diverse grid of historic touring cars. CJM Photography captured this stunning moment as Geoff Gouriet piloted his MG B through the iconic corners of the circuit. The HSCC Historic Touring Car Championship, in association with Ecurie Classic, showcased a wide range of engine capacities and car models, from pre-war machines with four-pot engines below 1150cc to powerful multi-litre V8s from the late 1960s. This race combined several classifications, making for an exciting and competitive event. The grid featured a mix of GT cars, tin tops, and production sports cars, all adorned with FIA Appendix K specifications and Dunlop tyres. The Pre-66 Club Racing GT and Production GT classes were also represented, adding to the nostalgic atmosphere of the day.
