In this photograph from CJM Photography, we find ourselves transported back in time to the Historic Racing Drivers Club (HRDC) Jack Sears Trophy event at the iconic Silverstone Grand Prix Motor Circuit in Towcester, Northamptonshire, England, October 2022. The forty-five minute race, featuring a diverse grid of pre-60 Touring Cars and pre-66 BMC A Series, Jaguar Touring Cars, Over 2 Litre, and Under 2 Litre Touring Cars, was a thrilling display of motor racing nostalgia and classic cars in action. At the heart of the image is the Ford Mustang driven by the talented duo, Dave Coyne and Mark Wright. The forty-five minute race, with the option of a second driver and a compulsory pit-stop, saw these iconic cars battle it out in the rain-soaked circuit. The results were divided into five classes: Coombs, Leston, Mann, Rhodes, and Sears.
