Standing at the foot of Mount Ararat, the majestic Khor Virap Armenian Apostolic Church monastery is a testament to the rich history and spirituality of Armenia. This ancient site is where Grigor Luisavorich (St. Gregory the Illuminator) was imprisoned for 13 years before converting King Trdat III to Christianity in 301 AD, marking the beginning of Armenia's adoption of Christianity.
