Die Tanzer tragen bunte Reifen in der Hand, mit denen sie zu dem reigenartigen Tanz Figuren bilden. Translation: Coopers Dance. The Coopers Dance is a parade that takes place in Munich every seven years on Epiphany (January 6th) with a dance by the Bottcher (Schaffler) in Munich, allegedly to commemorate a similar dance they had put on during the plague of 1517 to encourage residents. The dancers carry colorful hoops in their hands, with which they form peculiar dance figures.
