Single sheet. Coloured manuscript in ink and watercolour. The daily wind directions are shown beside the ship's track. Contains six fine watercolour coastal views - Ram Head, Pendennis Castle, the Lizard, the entrance of Cork Harbour, Porto Santo and Madeira.
The Centaur served as Rear Admiral Sir Samuel Hood's flagship. After taking part in the Battle of Copenhagen, Centaur resumed patrol duties in the Atlantic.
