Displayed in the Society of Antiquaries of London, UK, this oil on canvas print measures 74.7x61 cm and exudes an air of elegance and intellectual curiosity. Samuel Gale was not only known for his lineage as the youngest son of Reverend Thomas Gale but also for being a godson to Samuel Pepys.
