This is the most important monument surviving from the sanctuary of Apollo is at Delphi. Similar to the previous one and this temple had six columns on the front and 15 on the sides and gables, who painted the acts and Androsthenes hosted scenes depicting Apollo, the Muses and Dionysus

This print captures the majestic Temple of Apollo, a monument of great historical significance that stands as the most important surviving structure from the sanctuary of Apollo in Delphi. According to ancient legends, this temple was constructed on the same sacred grounds where mythical temples dedicated to Apollo once stood. Throughout its existence, it has been built using various materials such as laurel branches, beeswax, and copper. Originally erected in 510 BC with generous contributions from Greek and foreign rulers, as well as support from the influential Athenian family Alkmaionidon, this architectural marvel boasted six Doric columns at its front and fifteen on each side. The temple housed exquisite sculptures attributed to Antinagora and featured pediments adorned with intricate scenes depicting both Apollo and giants. Tragedy struck in 373 BC when a devastating earthquake nearly obliterated the temple. In response, a fundraising effort was launched within the Sanctuary to finance its reconstruction. The task fell upon renowned architects Spinthagoras of Corinth, Xenodoros, and Agathon who faithfully recreated the temple's original design. Like its predecessor, this rebuilt version showcased six columns at its front and fifteen on each side while displaying vivid depictions of Apollo alongside figures such as Muses and Dionysus.
