In the year 1483, a pivotal time in history, several notable figures and events took place. One of these figures was King Richard III of England, whose reign has been shrouded in controversy and intrigue. Known for his alleged involvement in the disappearance of the Princes in the Tower, Richard III is often portrayed as a cunning and ruthless ruler. Meanwhile, across Europe, another influential figure emerged - Martin Luther. This German theologian would go on to challenge the Catholic Church with his Ninety-Five Theses, sparking the Protestant Reformation. Amidst this backdrop of political upheaval and religious reformations, artists like Raphael and Leonardo da Vinci were making their mark on history. Raphael's artistic genius flourished during this time period before his untimely death at just 37 years old. The year it also saw significant shifts in power as Edward IV ascended to the throne of England at just 16 years old. However, his reign was cut short when he passed away at only 50 years old. As we reflect on this remarkable year filled with kings and players alike, it becomes evident that it was a turning point for both politics and artistry. From King Richard III's controversial rule to Martin Luther's theological revolution to Leonardo da Vinci's masterpieces - all intertwined within one momentous year that shaped our world forever.
