1500 BC was a time of great cultural and artistic achievements across different regions of the world. In Akrotiri, Thera, Greece, an ancient Greek fresco depicting fishermen gives us a glimpse into the daily lives and occupations of people during that era. Moving to Italy's Sicily region, Lipari Island's thermal baths of Saint Calogero were popular for their healing properties. People would come from far and wide to relax and rejuvenate in these natural hot springs. Mr Flinders Petrie's exhibition of Egyptian antiquities showcased the rich history and craftsmanship of ancient Egypt. Engravings depicted scenes such as foundrymen casting bronze doors and a reconstructed drawing of an Egyptian vertical loom used for weaving textiles. In Sant Ambrogio, Italy, archaeologists discovered a big terracotta mug with horned handles dating back to 1500 BC. This artifact provides insight into the material culture and artistic skills prevalent during that time period. Arbor Low, captured beautifully by Ethel Davies in 2006, is an ancient stone circle located in England. It stands as a testament to the spiritual beliefs and rituals practiced by our ancestors thousands of years ago. Traveling back to Egypt, we find ourselves immersed in its fascinating history once again. The Mycenaean period witnessed significant developments at Lipari Island's thermal baths of Saint Calogero. These structures served as important communal spaces where people gathered for relaxation and socializing. China also had its share of remarkable artifacts from this era. A jade sculpture depicting a bird from China's Neolithic Era showcases the exquisite craftsmanship prevalent at that time.
