"1509: A Glimpse into the Intriguing World of King Henry VIII and Beyond" Step back in time to the year 1509, where history was being written by powerful monarchs and talented artists. King Henry VIII, a figure known for his eventful reign, ascended to the throne. Anon, an anonymous playwright of that era, captivated audiences with their thought-provoking works. In this same year, Jane Seymour caught the eye of the renowned artist Holbein. Their collaboration resulted in a masterpiece that immortalized her beauty for generations to come. Meanwhile, medieval scholars delved deep into knowledge as they navigated through the complexities of the 16th century. Calvin's "Whole Length" made waves among intellectuals during this period.
