The 16th century, also known as the Renaissance period, was a time of great cultural and artistic transformation in Europe. It was an era marked by significant advancements in science, art, and religion. In Florence, Italy, lies the Basilica of Santa Croce where Galileo Galilei's tomb can be found. This renowned scientist revolutionized our understanding of the universe with his astronomical discoveries. In Toulouse, France stands the Marmouset fountain on Place Saint-Etienne.
