Native American leader Geronimo fought valiantly for his people's rights, while in England, George Stephenson unveiled his groundbreaking creation - Stephensons Rocket locomotive. Meanwhile, music enthusiasts were captivated by Chopin's mesmerizing concert at Radziwill and Rubinstein's enchanting piano performance. Amidst these cultural milestones, Edinburgh University continued to foster intellectual growth and innovation. The bustling city of London witnessed its expansion as it ventured beyond its boundaries, embracing progress with open arms. Across the Atlantic Ocean, William Hale introduced North America to the wonders of steam-powered transportation with the Stourbridge Lion locomotive imported from England by the Delaware & Hudson Canal Company in 1829. This marked a significant turning point for northeastern Pennsylvania.
