In Venice, 1892, Edmond Francois Aman-Jean's creative genius came alive as he painted "The Haunted House. " With its ethereal beauty and haunting atmosphere, it transported viewers into a realm where reality merged with imagination. Odilon Redon continued this theme in his works like "The Width and Flatness of [the] Frontal [Bone], " where he explored the depths of human perception. "The Haunted House" series by Redon delved deeper into mysterious realms. In "I Continued to Gaze on the Chair, " a pale blue presence seemed to materialize before our eyes. And in "We Both Saw a Large Pale Light, " an otherworldly glow captivated our senses. Auguste Clot's contribution added another layer of intrigue with his depiction of bloodless larvae in "Larvae So Bloodless and So Hideous.
