"1864: A Year of Triumphs, Tragedies, and Transformations" In 1864, the world witnessed a myriad of events that shaped history. From the grandeur of Alexandra Palace's design in London to the poetic brilliance of John Clare and Hilton, creativity thrived. Meanwhile, on American soil, the Battle of Franklin unfolded with devastating consequences as depicted in Kurz & Allison's haunting lithograph. It serves as a reminder that even amidst darkness there is always room for resilience, compassion, artistry. . and hope for brighter days ahead.
