The 1981 Classic TT was a race filled with excitement and controversy. The Honda Black Protest Team made their mark on the event, led by the talented Dale Singleton on his Yamaha. Alongside him were Steve Parrish and Joey Dunlop, both riding Yamaha bikes as well. Joey Dunlop, known for his skills on the track, joined forces with the Black Protest Honda team in this classic race. Their aim was to protest against unfair regulations and showcase their abilities despite being at a disadvantage. It was a bold move that would go down in history. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a black week for Honda as they faced numerous challenges throughout the race. However, Joey Dunlop's determination shone through as he pushed himself to the limit on his Black Protest Honda bike. Ron Haslam and Alex George also represented the Black Protest Honda team in this iconic event. They fought hard against tough competition but never gave up. Graeme Crosby showed exceptional skill on his Suzuki during the 1981 Classic TT. His performance left spectators in awe of his talent and dedication to racing. Tony Rutter (Yamaha) and Alan Jackson (Yoshimura Suzuki) formed another formidable duo in this thrilling race. Their teamwork and expertise were evident as they maneuvered through challenging turns with precision. Dennis Ireland showcased Suzuki's power during this unforgettable event. His speed and agility impressed both fans and fellow racers alike.
