Alan Langton is a legendary figure in the world of sidecar racing, having competed in numerous Sidecar TT races throughout his career. In 1985, he teamed up with Lowry Burton to tackle the challenging Isle of Man course on their Yamaha machine. The duo showcased their skills and determination as they battled against fierce competition. Fast forward to 1988, and Langton found himself partnering with Dave Molyneux for two separate Sidecar TT races. Riding a Yamaha once again, they demonstrated incredible teamwork and precision on the track. Their performances left spectators in awe as they pushed themselves to the limit. Langton's success continued into the '90s when he joined forces with Kenny Howles for the 1991 Sidecar TT race. This time riding an Ireson Yamaha, Langton proved that he was a force to be reckoned with as he tackled every twist and turn of the demanding circuit. Throughout his career, Langton formed partnerships with various talented riders such as Stuart Graham, Jamie Scarffe, Tony Pitt, Steve Sinnott, and Mike Aylott. Together they took on different challenges including Southern 100 races and other Sidecar TT events. In 2008 and 2009 respectively, Langton collaborated with Tim Dixon and Mike Aylott once again for two more thrilling Sidecar TT competitions. Riding Baker Yamahas both times around the iconic Isle of Man circuit showcased their unwavering dedication to this exhilarating sport. Alan Langton's name will forever be etched in sidecar racing history due to his remarkable performances over several decades. His skillful navigation through treacherous corners combined with his ability to form strong partnerships made him a true legend in this adrenaline-fueled motorsport discipline.
