Alasdair Coates, a name synonymous with speed and precision on the racing circuit. From the moment he stepped into the driver's seat of his Ford Escort Mk1 RS2000, it was clear that Coates was destined for greatness. In CM34 3557, Alasdair Coates teamed up with Alexander Dawson to dominate the track in their powerful Ford Escort Mk1 RS2000. Their synchronized maneuvers left spectators in awe as they effortlessly maneuvered through each turn. But it wasn't just one victory that defined Coates' career. In CJ12 3290 and CJ12 3217, he once again showcased his skill behind the wheel of a Ford Escort Mk1 RS2000 alongside Dawson. The duo proved to be an unstoppable force as they crossed the finish line triumphantly. Coates didn't limit himself to just one type of car though. In CJ11 8303, he took on a new challenge by piloting a Ford Escort RS2000 Mk1 solo. His determination and expertise were evident as he pushed boundaries and set new records. Not one to shy away from variety, it also found success in other iconic vehicles like the Ford Shelby Mustang GT350 (CJ9 3770). With its raw power and roaring engine, this muscle car became an extension of his own spirit on the racetrack. Even when returning to familiar territory with his beloved Ford Escorts (CJ10 0094), there was never a dull moment for Coates. Each race brought fresh excitement as he unleashed every ounce of horsepower these machines had to offer. The roar of engines filled the air whenever Alasdair Coates hit the track (CM29 3202). This time partnering with another legend - Larry Tucker - driving a formidable Ford Shelby Mustang GT350. Together they formed an unbeatable team that left competitors trailing far behind.
