Alexander I of Russia, also known as Alexandre Ier, was the Tsar of Russia from 1777 to 1825. He was a prominent figure during his reign and is depicted in various artworks that showcase his leadership and interactions with other notable figures. One such artwork is a watercolor painting titled "Tsar Alexander I and Russian officers" by Finert (Finart) Noel Dieudonne in 1815. This piece captures the Tsar alongside Russian officers, highlighting his close relationship with the military. Another portrayal of Alexander I can be seen in an engraving titled "Portrait of Tsar Alexander I of Russia" created between 1825-27. This detailed portrait showcases his regal appearance and provides insight into his physical features. In another artwork called "Portrait du tsar Alexandre I Pavlovitch, " we see the Emperor adorned with various honorary distinctions, including the black and gold ribboned cross of the Imperial Order of Saint George. This emphasizes his prestigious status within society. A significant historical event involving Alexander I is depicted in a painting called "Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte receiving Queen Louise of Prussia. " In this scene, Napoleon sits at a table alongside Queen Louise and Emperor Alexander during their meeting at Tilsit on July 6th, 1807. It symbolizes diplomatic negotiations during turbulent times. Additionally, there is a lithograph titled "Emperor Alexander I With Grand Duke Constantine Pavlovich Of Russia, " which portrays him standing beside Grand Duke Constantine Pavlovich. The artist Bronislaw Gembarzewski beautifully captures their familial bond through this medium. Jean Henri Benner's work titled "Portrait de l'empereur Alexandre I de Russie" further immortalizes the Emperor's image using watercolor, gouache, and ink on paper in classic French style. Housed in the State Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, it exemplifies art from the 19th century.
