Alun Thomas, a name synonymous with speed and skill in the world of sidecar racing. With his trusted partners by his side, such as Kenny Cole and Mike Cookson, Alun has left an indelible mark on the track. One of his most memorable moments was at the Ireson Honda 2023 Sidecar TT. Teaming up with Kenny Cole, they showcased their impeccable teamwork and determination to clinch victory. The roar of their engine echoed through the air as they sped past their competitors. In 2017, Alun joined forces with Debbie Barron for the Sidecar TT. Their synchronicity on the track was awe-inspiring, leaving spectators breathless as they maneuvered through each turn with precision. The year before that, Alun took part in a parade lap alongside Mike Cookson during the 2016 TT event. The crowd erupted in cheers as they witnessed these two skilled riders showcase their talent and pay homage to this prestigious race. Not limited to just one event, Alun's prowess extended to other races like the Southern 100 in 2022 where he partnered with Kenneth Cole on a Honda Ireson machine. Together, they conquered every twist and turn of the circuit, leaving their competitors trailing behind. His success wasn't confined solely to modern machines either; back in 2014 at both Senior Manx Grand Prix and Newcomers A Manx Grand Prix events riding a Honda bike - he proved himself against some tough competition. Throughout his career, Alun has also collaborated with various riders like Michael Barry for a thrilling parade lap aboard Fiddaman machinery during 2007's event or Andy King during Sidecar TT in 2018 using an Ireson Honda setup - showcasing versatility across different partnerships. Even when switching brands from Honda to Suzuki for Lightweight Manx Grand Prix in 2018 - Alun demonstrated adaptability while still maintaining top performance levels.
