Amenhotep II, known as Aakheperura, was a prominent pharaoh of Egypt during the New Kingdom period. His reign belonged to Dynasty 18 and he ruled with great power and authority. One remarkable artifact that represents Amenhotep II's legacy is the Scarab bearing his name. This intricate piece showcases the importance of symbolism in ancient Egyptian culture. Another significant relic is a plaque depicting Amenhotep II offering incense to Amun-Re, who is seated on a majestic throne. This artwork exemplifies the pharaoh's devotion to the gods and his role as an intermediary between them and his people. In addition, a canopic jar belonging to Amenhotep, Overseer of the Builders of Amun, has been discovered. These jars were used in mummification rituals to preserve organs for the afterlife.
