Andy Smith is a name synonymous with speed and skill in the world of motorsports. From his early days racing alongside Geoff Hands on the Windle Imp in the 2002 Pre TT Classic, to his thrilling parade lap on a Ducati in 2012 VMCC Parade Lap, Andy has always pushed boundaries. One of his most memorable moments came during the 1995 Sidecar TT when he teamed up with Geoff Hands once again, this time riding the Jacobs Yamaha. The duo displayed incredible teamwork and determination as they tackled every twist and turn of the challenging course. But it wasn't just sidecar racing that showcased Andy's talent. He also made waves in single-seater racing, driving CJ11 1104 March 782, CJ11 1169 March 782, CJM-P 0697 March 783, and CM29 2534 March 742 cars. His precision behind the wheel was unmatched as he maneuvered through tight corners at breakneck speeds. However, Andy's versatility extended beyond four wheels. He proved himself on two wheels too when he joined forces with Carlos Monteverde and Gary Pearson to race a Ferrari512M (CM24-4557). And who could forget his impressive performances behind the wheel of a Honda Accord Type R? Whether it was CM21-7305 or CM21-5616, Andy consistently demonstrated his mastery over different vehicles. Another highlight from his career was teaming up with Bruce Wilson on a Suzuki XR41 (CM14-5537), showcasing their shared passion for motorcycle racing. Throughout all these races and events, one thing remained constant - Andy Smith's unwavering dedication to excellence. His love for motorsports shone through every twist of the throttle and every calculated move on track. Andy Smith will forever be remembered as an icon in motorsports history - a true legend whose name will continue to inspire future generations of racers around the world.
