The antechapel, adorned with intricate engravings of Virgins, Angels, Archangels, Virtues, Powers, and Dominations, holds a rich history within its walls. It witnessed the execution of Anne Boleyn at the Tower of London in a somber chromolitho depiction. This haunting event was not the only one to take place within these sacred grounds. In Val Camonica's church of Gianico, crimes of exaltation unfolded as two priests were attacked and wounded during a shocking incident captured in vivid color lithography. The Chapel of the Sacrament in St. Peters also held significant moments for public display. Pius XI's body lay on view to mourners while Leo XIII's death led to another poignant exposition. Monza saw both tragedy and redemption as it inaugurated the Expiatory Chapel on the 10th anniversary of King Umberto's passing - an event immortalized through striking color lithographs. Professional jealousy took an ugly turn between two Baptist priests over a pulpit in yet another dramatic scene depicted through vibrant colors. Rome's Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli became a gathering place for Sovereigns, Princes from House Savoy, and even Il Duce himself - their presence captured forever by skillful hands wielding lithographic tools. Meanwhile, Alencon showcased its own significance with a photograph capturing the very chapel where Therese de Lisieux received her baptismal sacrament in 2020. Traveling further back in time brings us to Lucca's Saint Regolo Chapel nestled within St. Martins cathedral - an architectural marvel dating back to the 15th century that still stands today as a testament to faith and artistry. Lastly but not leastly are Kings College Old Aberdeen and Kings College Chapel itself; black-and-white photographs transport us into their hallowed halls where knowledge intertwines with spirituality creating an atmosphere steeped in tradition and enlightenment.
