Archie, a member of Tattersall's and a pilot who experienced Archie for the first time during World War 1, holds a special place in history. With his unwavering patriotism, he proudly exclaimed "God Bless Our Motherland" as he embarked on his mission. But amidst the chaos of war, Archie found solace in simple pleasures like asking his comrades, "Got Any Gum Chum?" while they shared stories and music covers to lift their spirits. In another setting at Collins Music Hall in Islington Green, London, an eye-catching poster featuring Archie caught the attention of passersby. It showcased his remarkable talent as a performer and brought joy to all who witnessed his act. Fast forward to Crufts 2023 at NEC Birmingham where Archie once again stole the spotlight. Accompanied by Christina Drottsgard and Gudrun Brownstrom from Sweden, this Welsh Springer Spaniel proved himself as the Best of Breed winner on Thursday 09. 03. 23 - marking an unforgettable moment in Crufts' history. But Archie's legacy doesn't end there; Mandy Everley from West Sussex also had her shining moment with him on Friday 10. 03. 23 at Crufts 2023 when her Doberman named Archie claimed the title of Best of Breed winner for that day. Beyond dog shows and performances, Archie's influence extended into art as well. The Archibald Prize 2021 featured caricatures created by Lieutenant Fred May during WW1 gas school days - showcasing how even amidst challenging times, humor prevailed through depictions like those inspired by our beloved canine friend. Whether it be entertaining troops or winning prestigious titles at dog shows across different breeds and years, one thing remains constant: Archie has left an indelible mark wherever he goes - capturing hearts with his charm and bringing smiles to faces worldwide.
