The Audience Chamber, located in the serene Island Gardens of Polonnaruwa, is a remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site that holds centuries of history within its walls. Steeped in grandeur and elegance, this chamber has witnessed countless significant moments throughout time. One such moment captured on canvas is "The Secret of England's Greatness, " where Queen Victoria herself can be seen presenting a Bible to her subjects in the Audience Chamber at Windsor Castle. Painted around 1863, this oil masterpiece immortalizes the power and influence held by royalty.
