"In Love They Lived, In Love They Died: The Tragic Tale of the Babes in Wood" In the midst of their uncle's sinister plan to seize their wealth, a haunting story unfolds. It was the 1930s, captured vividly in a mesmerizing color lithograph. When for their wealth, he did devise to make them both away - an evil scheme took shape. Yet one of them, more hard-hearted than the other, vowed to fulfill his charge. A chilling pact was struck with two ruffians bold; they would snatch away these innocent children twain. With one another they did fight - a desperate struggle against fate itself. These prate and prattle pleasantly as if unaware of impending doom and gaily ride away into uncertainty. The uncle took the boy and girl under his wing, assuring them there was nothing to fear. But alas. No burial this pretty pair received at any man's hands; only Robin Redbreast lovingly covered their resting place. And when they saw the darksome night enveloping them like a shroud, they sat down and cried bitter tears. These pretty babes with trusting hearts went wandering up and down in search of solace amidst despair. Babes in the Wood - forever etched on this 1930s color litho - tells a tale that tugs at our heartstrings. Thus wandered these two pretty dears until death mercifully ended their grief. "In love they lived, in love they died, " leaving behind two babies who would never know their parents' embrace but carry on their legacy nonetheless.
