"Capturing the Beauty of Backlit Moments: A Winning Shot in COP26 Countdown Photo Competition 2021" In this mesmerizing photograph, two little blue penguins (Eudyptula minor) stand proudly on rocks at night, their silhouettes beautifully contrasted against the dazzling lights of Melbourne city. Taken at St Kilda breakwater in Victoria, Australia, back in December 2016, this image perfectly captures the essence of being backlit. Transporting us to another world altogether is a stunning sunset scene featuring a Viking ship. The silhouette of this ancient vessel is enhanced by intricate 3D graphics that add depth and dimension to the composition. Moving from ships to ruins, we find ourselves amidst the hauntingly beautiful remains of Coventry Cathedral in Warwickshire, England.
