Barthelemy Fenis, a fearless and determined military leader, followed in the footsteps of Francesco I d'Este. Inspired by his example, Fenis led his troops safely through treacherous torrents during extreme conditions. After enduring a few days of siege alongside the French Army, he triumphantly took possession of conquered territories. Undeterred by the challenges that lay ahead, Fenis joined forces with the French Army to besiege Valencia after a prolonged struggle. Despite suffering from painful injuries himself, Francesco I d'Este displayed unwavering strength and continued to take charge on the battlefield. In their relentless pursuit of victory, Francesco I d'Este and the French Army laid siege to Valenza, which had fallen into enemy hands. With determination fueling their march forward, they crossed rivers such as Cassano without hesitation. The arduous campaign continued as they commenced the siege of Alessandria based on L'Idea di un Principe ed Eroe Cristiano's plan. Leading an army comprised mainly of Swiss soldiers did not dampen Francesco I d'Este's spirit; instead it only strengthened his resolve. With freedom coursing through his veins like the mighty Po River itself, Francesco I d'Este fearlessly wielded his sword against opposing troops in battle. Even in face of courageous opposition from German and Spanish forces alike, he remained undeterred. Setting out for yet another conquest at Cremona's doorstep was no easy feat for Francesco I d'Este; however crossing trenches between himself and victory proved insignificant compared to his indomitable spirit. Even wounded in battle during Pavia's siege didn't hinder him from orchestrating strategic moves towards success. Barthelemy Fenis embodied resilience and tenacity throughout these historical events while following closely behind one of history's greatest military leaders.
