Bicornes, also known as two-horned hats, were a popular fashion accessory in the 18th and 19th centuries. These distinctive hats featured a double-pointed design that gave them their unique name. Worn by both men and women of high society, they were often seen at formal events such as balls and weddings. Made from materials like felt or beaver fur, they were typically black or dark brown in color. They were often adorned with feathers or ribbons to add a touch of elegance to the wearer's ensemble.
