In 1974, riding a Yamaha, Bill Ingham showcased his immense talent at the Formula 750 TT. His lightning-fast speed and precision earned him well-deserved recognition among his peers. Throughout the late '70s and early '80s, Ingham continued to impress fans and competitors alike with his exceptional skills on different bikes. Whether it was Yamaha or Suzuki, he consistently pushed boundaries and set new records. The Senior TT races were where Bill truly shone brightest. In both 1981 and 1982 editions, representing Yamaha first then Maxton Yamaha later, he displayed unparalleled expertise that led him to victory. In addition to these achievements, Ingham's name is etched into history books thanks to victories at Jubilee TT (1977), Classic TT (1980), Junior TT (1979 & 1978), Classic TT again (Maxton Yamaha - 1979).
