"Boxall: A Glimpse into Time and Artistry" Step back in time to Lewes, Sussex, 1964, where a gipsy girl indulges in a hearty meal, capturing the essence of life's simple pleasures. The name "Boxall" echoes through history as we delve deeper into the world of art and creativity. In Wordsworth [Boxall], we find an artist whose brushstrokes bring giant trees to life on canvas. Their majestic presence transports us to enchanted forests, where nature reigns supreme. Traveling further south to Horley, Surrey in 1965, we witness the boundless imagination of young boys as they race around with their homemade go-kart. Laughter fills the air as they embrace the freedom of childhood. A different scene unfolds within the walls of a home in Horley during the late 1960s or early 1970s. Two mischievous boys find joy and camaraderie while playing together in a bath. Innocence radiates from their smiles as water splashes around them. But Boxall is not just about capturing moments; it is also about self-expression. Richard Boxall's self-portrait at nineteen years old reveals his introspective gaze and artistic aspirations that burn brightly within him since ca 1819. The influence of Boxalls extends beyond their own creations; it seeps into other artists' works too. James McNeill Whistler's portrait after 1848 showcases his talent even at fourteen years old—an undeniable testament to how inspiration can transcend generations. Sir William Boxall steps onto this stage with dignity during the 1860s when John & Charles Watkins immortalize him through photography—a snapshot frozen in time that captures his grace and stature for eternity. Artistic prowess knows no bounds or limitations—A. V. Copley Fielding proves this with every stroke he paints upon canvas between unknown dates spanning from 1787 to 1855.
