"Broadside: A Powerful Display of Naval Might and Historical Significance" From the majestic HMS Victory, adorned with flags and immortalized by Nelson's famous quote "England expects that every man will do his duty, " to the thunderous broadsides fired by the HMS Duke of York during the Second World War, this term holds a rich history. Even beyond naval warfare, broadsides have left their mark on various aspects of human achievement. Take for instance the ill-fated R 101 Airship, which met its tragic end after a disastrous crash during a test flight.
