"C1st: A Captivating Journey through Time and Art" Step into the world of C1st, a captivating collection that weaves together diverse artworks from different eras. From the stoning of St. Stephen in 36 AD to the stunning paintings by Annibale Carracci, this compilation takes us on a mesmerizing voyage. In one corner, we find ourselves immersed in an intricate study of Moss, Fern, and Wood-Sorrel upon a Rocky River Bank from 1875-79. The delicate strokes of pen, ink, watercolor, and body color on paper bring nature's beauty to life before our eyes. Moving forward in time but still rooted in history is San Girolamo's marble masterpiece from around 1580. Its intricate details capture the essence of devotion and contemplation. As we continue our exploration, Saint John the Evangelist stands tall with his bronze presence crafted between 1583-84. This sculpture exudes strength and spirituality as it tells its own story through its form. Literature finds its place within C1st too; Wilkie Collins' "Moonstone" enchants readers with mystery and intrigue while adding another layer to this eclectic mix. The Battle of Ain engraving transports us back to ancient times when Joshua's army destroyed a city. The detailed artwork allows us to witness this historical event unfold before our very eyes. A tapestry dating back to 1450-1500 brings forth scenes from Marius Aurelius' return - possibly originating from Flanders or Tournai. Its woven threads tell tales of triumphs and tribulations throughout history. Once again entering Wilkie Collins' realm with "The Moonstone, " we embark on yet another thrilling literary adventure that intertwines seamlessly with visual artistry. Ceramic craftsmanship takes center stage as we encounter the Seated Ballplayer from the 1st century BC-3rd century CE. This ancient artifact speaks volumes about the significance of sports and leisure in past civilizations.
